Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Zyphra website and web application (the "Service"), operated by Alex Kem ("we," "our," or "us"). It is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. We may update it from time to time, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.

2. No Non-Consensual or Deceptive Deepfakes

Our tools can generate and manipulate synthetic media, including face swaps and AI-generated likenesses. You must not use the Service to:

  • Create or distribute content depicting a real person without that person's consent, where their consent is required.
  • Produce deceptive deepfakes intended to mislead, defraud, or harm others, including fabricated statements, events, or endorsements.
  • Generate sexual or intimate imagery of any real person without consent, or any sexual content involving minors.
  • Create synthetic media designed to interfere with elections or political processes through deception.

3. No Illegal Content or Conduct

You must not use the Service to create, upload, store, or distribute content that, or to engage in conduct that:

  • Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Depicts child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or sexualizes minors in any way.
  • Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or incites violence against individuals or groups.
  • Facilitates fraud, scams, money laundering, or the sale of illegal goods or services.

4. No Copyright or Intellectual Property Infringement

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights to all content you upload, download, or generate. You must not:

  • Upload or generate content that infringes the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • Use the platform downloader or import tools to obtain content you do not own or have permission to use, or in violation of a source platform's Terms of Service.
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, watermark, or attribution notices except where you hold the rights to do so.

5. No Harassment, Hate, or Abuse

You must not use the Service to:

  • Harass, bully, threaten, stalk, or intimidate any individual.
  • Create content that is hateful or that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
  • Publish private or identifying information about another person without their consent (doxxing).

6. No Impersonation or Misrepresentation

You must not use the Service to:

  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Create content that falsely attributes statements or actions to a real person or organization.
  • Pass off AI-generated content as authentic in a manner intended to deceive, where disclosure is required by law or platform rules.

7. No Abuse of the Platform

You must not:

  • Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or networks.
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated systems to access the Service beyond normal usage, or interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or resell access to the Service without authorization.

8. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP and to take any action we deem appropriate, including removing content, issuing warnings, and suspending or terminating accounts. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement. We are not obligated to monitor content but may do so to protect users and comply with our legal obligations.
